Sessions are available on location, in-home, or in studio. This is your opportunity to document the love you and your partner already have for your baby If you have other kids they're more then welcome to come & join in on ALL the snuggles! Pets are also welcome at outdoor and in home sessions.

No matter how old your "babies" are, my family sessions beautifully capture the love and connection that grows with you and your family.
Meeting your newborn, whether they're your first or last, is a whirlwind of emotions, with pure love, overwhelming joy, and exhaustion all mixed together. But when you hold your baby close, everything else fades away. Newborn photos capture the beauty of your baby's first days, preserving every wrinkle, yawn, and stretch. These images preserve the moments that pass in the blink of an eye.
Sessions are available on location, in-home, or in-studio where we can capture the moments that are sure to pass far too quickly. I often recommend in-home or in-studio sessions for newborn sessions, as it provides a calming experience for your little one and also allows for beautiful images. My newborn sessions unfold over 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your chosen package. This allows us plenty of time to create a relaxed and unhurried experience for you and your little one. If you have pets, they are also more than welcome to join us at outdoor and in-home sessions.

Cake smash sessions capture a child's first moments in the world of sweetness, but it's more than just cake! We will also take the time for 1st birthday portraits and family shots to celebrate this milestone with the people who love them most. Whether it's a sweet smile in their birthday outfit or a cuddle with mom and dad, every image tells a part of their story. Then comes the messy fun! When they squish their tiny hands into the frosting, the fun truly begins! Every messy smile captures a bit of magic, a glimpse into the unfiltered joy they feel. It’s one of those simple memories that stick with you forever.
Sessions are available in studio, on location, or in-home. However, I highly recommend choosing an in-studio or on-location session, where I’ll be able to handle all the cleanup, allowing you to sit back, relax, and enjoy watching your little one have a blast!

Do you have any packages that will include both a maternity & a newborn session?
Yes, I do offer collections/bundles! Each collection will save you a good chunk of money, so if you're looking to book multiple sessions, I'd highly recommend booking one of my collections! Check out the 'Collections' tab under "Pricing and Packages" to find all 3 of the Collections I offer and see if any of those fit your needs!
Are travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
All sessions receive no additional travel expenses within 45 minutes of Peoria, IL. If you have decided to book one of my Premium packages you can enjoy up to 90 minutes of comped travel expenses. Beyond those limits, my travel fee is $50 per hour of travel.
If you're looking to book in Chicago, there are specific days I have available with no travel fee.
What happens if my kids misbehave?
That’s totally okay! Yes.. really! My approach is all about capturing real, authentic moments, not perfectly posed smiles. I try to get the classic images when the children are feeling it most! If your kids are shy, energetic, or having an off day, we’ll roll with it. Some of the most meaningful photos come from those unscripted, in-between moments. Your job is to relax and enjoy the time with your family while I take care of the rest.
What is the best time for a session?
For outdoor sessions, lighting is usually best in the late afternoon or early evening hours right before sunset. That golden hour lighting is beautiful, as long as the weather permits. I also love an overcast sky, so no matter what, we can make it work! I completely understand that golden hour timing isn't practical for all families. After you inquire, we will discuss these details and find a time that works best for your family!
Can I still book one of these family packages if my kids aren't little anymore?
Of course! No matter the age of your children, I'd love to welcome them into our session! If your children have children of their own, please let me know and I can inform you of my extended family pricing!
Where should we have our session?
Your maternity, family, newborn, or cake smash sessions can take place outdoors, in home, in my studio, or maybe you want to rent a studio you like. If you aren't sure where you'd like to pick as your location, I am more than happy to help. During our conversations prior to booking, I will chat with you about some of my favorite locations in the area we could plan your session for!
What happens in the event of rain or other extreme weather?
If your session is scheduled for outdoors, I'll be watching the weather forecast the day of our session. If it looks like it will rain, I will be in touch via text or email and make the decision whether or not to postpone. I like to wait as late as possible to actually postpone because stormy skies right after or before rain are absolutely gorgeous, so if it’s not raining, we will be out there shooting! If there is other extreme weather coming during your sessions, such as tornados or high air pollution, we will discuss our options and reschedule if needed. In the case of any postponement, I will try to accommodate your session as soon as my schedule allows.
